The purpose of children’s ministry at Chapel is to partner with parents to introduce kids to Jesus and help them grow in their relationship with Him so they can be spiritually healthy for life and ministry in the world.
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Our primary emphasis during this time is training up children to know Jesus by understanding and applying the Word of God. During the worship service, classes are offered for Infants and Preschoolers starting at 10 am. During the service, school age children will be dismissed to their classes.
MID WEEK CLASSES
Child care is provided for infants and preschoolers during the adult Bible Studies on Wednesday night. For school age children, we offer a dynamic and creative Bible Study called “Kids Kingdom Builders,” where kids learn to grow in their faith.
Some special activities offered during the year include Vacation Bible School, CentriKid Summer Camp, Parent-child Dedications, and Harvest Festival.
Because we recognize that we are a reflection of God’s love to those in our care, we take seriously our responsibility to provide a safe environment for the children who attend Chapel in the Pines. This includes a Child Protection Policy, under which screening of all teachers and workers takes place. For more information, please click here .
If you would like to volunteer to work with the children at Chapel, please fill out the Children’s Ministry Application (click for Document) and return it to the Church Office.
